Andre Nolan Dawson is born July 10, 1954 in Miami, Florida. His nicknamed is "The Hawk". This player is a center/right fielder who played for four Major League Baseball (MLB) teams from 1976 to 1996.
He's spending most of his career with the Montreal Expos (1976–1986) and Chicago Cubs (1987–1992).
Dawson was a center fielder until knee problems forced his shift to right field, followed by his move to a team which played on grass. He won eight Gold Glove Awards for fielding excellence.
